The Paris Seine Initiative is an academic consortium selected by the French government as one of the 19 French Universities of Excellence. It gathers the university of Cergy-Pontoise (UCP), ESSEC Business School and EISTI Engineering School. These three institutions have joined forces under an ambitious project, with the objective to boost their research potential and international attractiveness.
The 2020 Call for Proposals aims to foster the development of scientific excellence, to have a structuring effect on the research strategy of the institutions and participating research teams.
The 2020 Call for Proposals features three axes for scientific development:
An internal call for scientific projects open to researchers and faculty members of the Paris Seine Initiative research centers, including two funding programs : the AMBITION PROGRAM supporting medium-term ambitious research programs developed at the level of a research group or research center, and the EMERGENCE PROGRAM supporting innovative individual research projects.
A call for external applications to the TALENT PROGRAM open to high-profile young researchers (two to ten years of postdoctoral experience) wishing to develop their research activity in one of the research groups of the Paris Seine Initiative.
A call for external applications to the FELLOWSHIP IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM of the Paris Seine Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS). This program aims to promote internationalization and interdisciplinarity by hosting visiting researchers (junior and senior) for a duration of 4 months to one year, at the IAS in connection with the research centers of of the Paris Seine Initiative.
A call for the EUTOPIA PhD CO-TUTELLE PROGRAM offering fellowships to high-quality PhD projects (3 - 4 years) co-supervised by academics of the EUTOPIA member universities.
